Do Work That Matters. At the Tulane University School of Social Work, this is at the heart of our school and exemplifies the work our faculty, alumni, and students do every day. Being in New Orleans, we know what it means to bring this vision to life. From natural disasters to socioeconomic and behavioral health disparities, the lessons we learn here benefit communities worldwide.

Our alumni come from a variety of different backgrounds, but our commitment to positively impacting communities and making a difference in the lives of others is what unites us all. We encourage you, as a student in the online Master of Social Work program, to pursue your academic interests and explore the environments that need our help the most.

We hope that you will envision yourself becoming a social worker who changes the world Doing Work That Matters!

All the best,
